On November 30, the National Photo Exhibit "Probation. Opportunities for Change" was opened in Kyiv.
The exhibit contains photographs and stories of people who have come in conflict with the law and were either given a second chance through probation and kept their freedom or were sent to prison.

The purpose of the National Photo Exhibit is to shape an understanding of what probation is and why it is more beneficial to the society than incarceration of offenders.

The photo exhibit has already been held in Lutsk, Dnipro, and Poltava. In Kyiv, the exhibition will be opened from December 1 to December 10 in the premises of the International Center of Culture and Arts (Zhovtnevyi Palace), 1 Heroyiv Nebesnoyi Sotni Alley. Entrance is free.

The exhibit was developed by the Probation Project Office under Ministry of Justice in the framework of EDGE, the Expert Deployment for Governance and Economic Growth, Ukraine project and with the support of Global Affairs Canada.
